- Book with Hayley RigbyI am a Medical Herbalist who specialises in women's and children's health. I am member of the National Institute of Medical Herbalist's (NIMH), the UK's leading body of herbal practitioners. I offer one to one consultations both online and in-person at my herbal clinic in Rodney Street, Liverpool. I also run workshops on Hormone Health and Medicine making. My mission is to connect people and plants and to continue to show people how we can heal our bodies of chronic illness and imbalances with the medicine that humanity has used since the beginning of time along with lifestyle and nutritional changes. I chose the herbal path due to my own health imbalances, frustration of not feeling heard and finding that the pharmaceuticals I was prescribed weren't getting to the root cause. I started to look for answers from alternative health professionals and take my health into my own hands. It was through herbal medicine that I was able to get my health back of track alongside nutrition and lifestyle changes. I then trained to be a Medical herbalist because I wanted to learn more about the science of how plants can heal. At Lincoln University Centre I completed 500 clinical hours in a herbal training clinic. During this time I got to consult patient's who had chronic illness from heart disease to cancer and witness the power of the plants at work through each individuals progress.

My consultations are 2 hours long because it takes around this amount of time to find the imbalances. Holistic health is at the core of what I do so this involves a full profile of nutrition, lifestyle, emotional health, relationships etc so that I can deliver the most suitable treatment plan to my clients.
